Jennifer Lopez Celebrates the Tenth Anniversary Officially, ten years have passed since Jennifer Lopez’s 2014 release of A.K.A., her eighth studio album. Lopez commemorated the historic anniversary in her most recent Instagram post by sharing not one, not two, but three nearly-naked looks from the renowned era—and more.
Fans of O.G. recall where they were on June 13 when Lopez unveiled the blazing red A.K.A record cover. As of right now, Lopez shared pictures from a recent photo shoot taken by Steven Gomillion in a carousel on Thursday, June 27, which replicated the exact appearance down to the hairstyle.
The “First Love” singer was seen posing in front of a golden backdrop, sporting a full Versace look. Like the original cover, J.Lo capitalized on the nearly-naked trend for the Instagram post. She was wearing a vibrant red corset with the top adorned with buckles and cutouts all over, and the fashion house’s Medusa embellishment appeared on the straps.
She wore a skin-tight shiny skirt that hit at the knee and sat high on her waist, matching the barely-there top to Rob Zangardi’s and Mariel Haenn’s celebrity stylist advice.
J.Lo perfectly captured the style in every aspect. She succeeded in removing the identical jewelry pieces from the cover, finishing her ensemble with a matching necklace, massive silver rings, and gold dangling earrings in addition to a chunky gold Versace Medusa bracelet.

The 54-year-old had Lorenzo Martin style her honey-blonde hair into an incredibly long, voluminous half-upstyle. She accessorized with a glossy nude lip to show off her sun-kissed tan for a glamorous look.
J.Lo dressed up for the celebration in more than just her flaming red ensemble. The photographer shared another collection of photos that Lopez had taken, which were all inspired by her favorite character and one of her most well-known musical periods, “Jenny on the Block.”
Lopez was spotted sporting a hooded sequin outfit that revealed her bust. It was a slouchy, micro-mini romper with a deep V-cut neckline. She accessorized her ensemble with matching beaded shoes, a statement red lip, and enormous silver hoops earrings.
Her third and last costume change was a complete commit to the almost-naked style. Gomillion’s post shows Lopez wearing a mesh dress embellished with silver rhinestones in the next slide. Her maxi dress was adorned with white sequins that covered her lower rear, and she wore a white bralette underneath. She accessorized with a white fitted hat and white Jeffrey Campbell platform ankle “Lita” booties, which are the ultimate 2014 relic.

Lopez’s nostalgic message comes after her This Is Me tour in the United States was canceled.Live recorded on May 31; scheduled to take place in June and August. It was scheduled to include songs from every one of her most notable musical periods, and it most likely would have included A.K.A. Lopez would have been on her first tour in five years following the 2019 “It’s My Party” event, which honored her fiftieth birthday.
Nevertheless, it’s evident that Lopez is making an effort to make up to her admirers for the unexpected last-minute cancelation, and it appears that she is beginning by recreating nostalgic scenes. There must be more in store for J.Lo in the upcoming weeks, especially in anticipation of her birthday in July, given her nature as a Leo.
